Whether times are good or bad, babies are still being born. A dry bottom may not seem like a lot, but when you are a single mom with a newborn infant and no money, a fresh diaper makes all the difference in the world. Twenty-five dollars allows us to buy diapers and launder gently used baby clothes so they are fresh and sweet for their newest owner.
We also need help to feed children during the summer and during winter holidays when schools are closed, because hunger never goes on vacation! Twenty-five dollars will provide a week's worth of nutritious food for a child who counts on free school meals for most of their daily nutrition.
The Children's Fund is totally funded by community members like yourselves. We are an all-volunteer board. We pay no office rent. When folks have less, we have more kids who need help.
Many of our hard-working good families are having a hard time right now. Please remember that it takes all of us to raise our community's children. You can help with diapers, baby clothes, shoes, and needed nutrition by donating right here, right now.
For 25 years, we have been an all-volunteer organization, hiring consultants as needed to help us with finance, governance, and strategic planning so we can serve children better. Professional services and operating expenses are paid out of a special bequest from the late Norman deGroot so that 100% of your donation can go directly to the children we serve.
Make a difference today that will matter for a child, for a family, far into the future.
One dollar, $3, $5, $10, $50, or $100 a month can make a huge difference in a child's life.
All donations are gratefully accepted.
We can send you a donation envelope, so that you can donate by mail. Please use our Contact page to let us know how many donation envelopes you would like, and the mailing address to which we should send them.
Small donations given on a regular basis make a big difference for a child. You can donate monthly through PayPal.
